The Night the Sky Exploded and We Were On Stage
Standing on stage at the Hard Rock Casino on the 4th of July while fireworks exploded over South Lake Tahoe, I have to be honest, it felt surreal. Like I wasn’t just at a show anymore. Like I was at a full on concert moment. The crowd, the music, the open sky lighting up with color above the lake. The Residents Tahoe showed up and delivered something nobody who was there that night is going to forget anytime soon. Here’s what the whole night was like.

I didn’t know what I was getting into the first time I heard The Residents Tahoe. But the second they started playing I was singing along, and I haven’t stopped since. These guys are the real deal. South Lake Tahoe originals with a full band of ridiculously talented musicians, original songs that’ll give you chills, and the kind of live energy you just can’t fake. I even got to play cajon with them on the 4th of July at the Hard Rock Casino while fireworks were going off outside. Yeah. That happened.
