What It’s Like to See The Residents Tahoe Live

I’m just going to say it, if you haven’t seen The Residents Tahoe live yet, you’re missing out.

The Energy Is Just Different

From the second they start playing the energy in the room changes. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never heard of them before. It doesn’t matter if you just stopped in for a drink. By the first song you’re already nodding your head and by the second you’re singing along.

That’s just what they do.

They play music everybody knows and loves, the kind of songs that take you right back to where you were the first time you heard them. Classic rock, good vibes, real musicians who actually love what they’re doing. You can feel it.

Everyone’s Welcome

Here’s what I love most about a Residents show, it’s not just for one crowd. Young, old, locals, visitors, everybody shows up and everybody has a good time.

And the kids? The kids lose it. There’s something about the Residents that just gets them going. Don’t be surprised if you look up and there are little ones up on stage dancing their hearts out while the band plays on. Nobody stops them. Nobody minds. That’s exactly the kind of show this is.

You Will Sing Along

I don’t care if you think you’re not a singer. I don’t care if you’re just there with friends and weren’t planning on getting into it. You will sing along. It’s basically inevitable at a Residents show.

Ted Kennedy and the band have a way of making everyone in the room feel like they’re part of the performance. And honestly that’s a rare thing. Not every band can do that.
